**Bosnia and Herzegovina and Egypt Discuss Defense‑Industry Cooperation**

*Sarajevo, 2 September 2026* – Officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Egypt met to explore ways to deepen bilateral defence cooperation. The talks were led by Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defence, Zukan Helez, alongside Egypt’s Minister of Military Production.

During the meeting, both parties examined the possibility of closer collaboration between their defence industries. Topics included the exchange of technologies and expertise, as well as prospects for joint production of military equipment. The discussions aimed to identify concrete projects that could benefit both countries and strengthen their strategic partnership.

The meeting was reported by the *Sarajevo Times* and marks a continuation of efforts by Bosnia and Herzegovina to expand its defence ties beyond the European region. No specific agreements or timelines were disclosed at this stage.
