Bmobile Raises Wireless Internet Prices, Citing Inflation And Ongoing Economic Pressures Across Trinidad And Tobago Bmobile customers are now paying higher prices for several wireless broadband services following a rate adjustment that took effect on September 25, 2026. The telecommunications provider confirmed the increases in an official customer advisory, saying ongoing economic pressures, including inflation, had made it necessary to adjust its wireless broadband rates. The increases affect residential standalone internet packages, residential bundles, business internet services and several speed upgrades. For residential customers, the VAT-inclusive price of Bmobile’s 6Mbps LTE Internet at Home service increased from $167.63 to $201.38, an increase of $33.75. The 10Mbps residential service moved from $201.38 to $223.88, while the 20Mbps service recorded the largest increase among the three standalone residential packages, moving from $223.88 to $280.13, an increase of $56.25. Several residential bundles also increased. The Bmobile Wireless Residential Bundle previously priced at $223.88 VAT inclusive now costs $257.63, while another moved from $280.13 to $313.88. Other residential bundle increases include $392.63 to $426.38, $538.88 to $561.38, and $651.38 to $673.88. The company’s Quad Play packages were also affected. One increased from $505.13 to $527.63, while another rose from $730.13 to $752.63. The 20Mbps residential bundle previously costing $280.13 increased to $336.38, representing a $56.25 increase. Business customers are also facing higher charges. Bmobile’s 6Mbps Unlimited LTE Business Internet increased from $280.13 to $313.88, while the 10Mbps service moved from $336.38 to $358.88. The 20Mbps business service increased from $392.63 to $448.88. Business bundles listed by Bmobile also increased from $448.88 to $471.38 and from $505.13 to $561.38. Not every adjustment was an increase. The cost of upgrading from 6Mbps to 10Mbps actually fell from $33.75 to $22.50. However, upgrading from 6Mbps to 20Mbps increased from $56.25 to $78.75, while the 10Mbps-to-20Mbps upgrade increased from $22.50 to $56.25. Bmobile said customers would retain the features currently included with their plans despite the new prices. The company said it had made efforts to absorb rising costs but ultimately determined that the economic environment required an adjustment to its wireless broadband rates. The increases come against previously published broadband prices documented by the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. TATT’s December 2025 price schedule listed Bmobile’s 6Mbps, 10Mbps and 20Mbps residential wireless broadband packages at $167.63, $201.38 and $223.88 respectively, matching the previous prices identified in Bmobile’s advisory.
