Blueface’s Dad Keeps Working Despite His Son’s Financial Success

Blueface’s Father Says He Still Works Regular Job Despite Son’s Fame

The father of American rapper Blueface is attracting attention online after revealing that despite his son’s success in the entertainment industry, he continues to work a regular job and remains financially independent.

Jonathan Porter Sr., father of Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Michael Porter, recently spoke about continuing to work as a truck driver rather than depending on his famous son for financial support.

Porter made it clear that his son’s success does not mean he has stopped earning his own money.

“I don’t rely on him. Nope. I get mine,” Porter said while discussing his relationship with his son and his decision to continue working.

He explained that Blueface may occasionally give him something financially, but he considers anything he receives from his son an added benefit rather than something he depends upon to survive.

His comments have gained attention because there is also public evidence showing Porter continuing to work.

In July 2026, Blueface unexpectedly encountered his father while livestreaming and discovered him working an Amazon delivery route.

Blueface appeared genuinely surprised by the coincidence after noticing his father nearby wearing an Amazon safety vest.

“What are you doing here?” Blueface asked as he approached him, apparently caught off guard by the unexpected meeting.

The two greeted each other before Blueface questioned what his father was doing in the area.

Porter simply responded, “Delivering, baby.”

The brief encounter quickly circulated online, with viewers particularly interested in seeing the father of a successful entertainer carrying out an ordinary working day.

The latest comments from Porter have now brought renewed attention to that moment.

While having a famous child could potentially provide some parents with an opportunity to leave the workforce, Porter appears determined to maintain his own source of income and independence.

His approach has generated positive reactions online, with many people praising him for continuing to work rather than assuming his son’s financial success should automatically support him.

Blueface rose to prominence during the late 2010s and developed a sizeable following through his music and, more recently, his activity on social media and livestreaming platforms.

However, his father’s comments offer a different glimpse into the family, showing that Blueface’s celebrity status has not necessarily changed how his father approaches his own responsibilities.

For Porter, whatever financial assistance his son chooses to provide appears to be a bonus.

His regular income remains his own responsibility.

And judging from the unexpected Amazon encounter caught on camera, when it is time to work, Blueface’s father is still clocking in.
