Police in Tirana have imposed ten administrative penalties on individuals who blocked traffic during a protest on the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard. According to an official statement, the protest took place the day after the event, during which participants obstructed the movement of vehicles despite repeated calls from police officers via megaphone. Under Act Normativ No. 5 dated 28 October 2026, specifically paragraph 2 of subparagraph 24/1, ten administrative proceedings were recorded. Each identified person received a fine of 5,000 lekë. The police have forwarded the procedural documents to the prosecutor’s office for further action.
