A birthday celebration in Siparia ended in tragedy early Friday morning when two men were shot dead. The incident occurred at Taylor Avenue, Quinam Road around 2:30 a.m. on June 19, 2026. The two victims were found unresponsive with gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
One of the deceased was identified as 39-year-old Osei Packett, also known by his nickname ‘Danqua’. The second victim remains unidentified but was found with several tattoos on his body, including one bearing the name ‘Joshua’.
According to reports, a verbal dispute broke out during the birthday party. One man allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire, resulting in the crowd dispersing in panic. When the shooting stopped, Packett and the unidentified man were tragically found dead.
Investigators from the Homicide Bureau are continuing their inquiries into the incident. They are working diligently to determine the motive behind this horrifying act of violence and to identify the person or persons responsible.
