Взлом Binance на $6,3 млрд может стать крупнейшим в истории крипторынка

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, reported a major security breach that has reportedly cost the company about $6.3 billion. Roughly $3 billion of assets have already been frozen. According to Binance, the attackers accessed the exchange’s systems through a laptop belonging to a DevOps engineer. From that point, they carried out unauthorized withdrawal transactions. Once the breach was detected, Binance temporarily suspended both deposits and withdrawals. The company has engaged law‑enforcement authorities and blockchain‑analysis specialists to investigate the incident. Binance stated that it will cover all losses from its own funds and its SAFU reserve fund, and it has assured users that their funds remain secure. The hack has had a noticeable impact on the broader crypto market. Bitcoin fell about 3 percent, while Ethereum dropped more than 3 percent following the news. Binance said it will release a detailed technical report once the investigation is complete.
