**Bank of Mauritius Launches New Statistical Platform to Enhance Data Transparency**

The Bank of Mauritius (BoM) has introduced a new statistical data platform, BOM STATS, aimed at improving public access to key economic figures and strengthening the institution’s operational transparency.

The platform was officially unveiled on Thursday, 3 September, during an event hosted by the BoM. BOM STATS is designed to provide users with up‑to‑date economic statistics, facilitating better-informed decision‑making by businesses, policymakers and the public.

The BoM’s announcement highlighted the platform’s role in promoting greater transparency and accessibility of economic data, aligning with the central bank’s broader commitment to open and reliable information dissemination.
