Autotorvet, a used‑car auction house located in Vodskov, has reported a sharp decline in the number of electric vehicles it receives after bidding.
Owner Søren Fjorback, who previously bid on roughly 400 used electric cars each week, says the number of cars arriving at the auction has fallen to almost none.
The drop is attributed to intensified competition on international car auctions, with buyers from several large European countries now participating in the market.
In response, Autotorvet is scaling back its operations and has announced a change in its director position.
The adjustments reflect a broader shift in the used electric‑vehicle market and the challenges faced by local auction houses.
