Kathmandu, 13 Kattik — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell on the day of trading at the Dithopatra market. According to the exchange, the NEPSE index dropped 45.45 points to close at 2,690.15. The Sensitive Index, which tracks large‑cap companies, fell 0.54 points to 487.66. The Float Index fell 0.36 points to 186.64, while the Sensitive Float Index fell 0.17 points to 165.16. A total of 2,286,255 554 shares were traded, with a value of NPR 8,889,151,945. Of the 13 market segments, five rose and eight fell. Among the 271 listed companies, 102 shares increased, 169 decreased, and eight remained unchanged. Notable gains were reported by investors in Beni Hydro Power, Swabhiman Microfinance, and Lumbini Development Bank. Conversely, investors in Manganese Hydro Power, Super Khudi Hydro Power, and Sopan Pharmaceuticals recorded losses.
