Sofia, 30 August 2026 – PFC Beroe Stara Zagora announced on Thursday that it has terminated the contract of senior team coach Vladimir Manchev. The club’s management cited a “difference in interests regarding the development of the team” as the reason for the decision.
In an official statement, Beroe said: “PFC Beroe Stara Zagora announces the termination of contractual relations with first‑team coach Vladimir Manchev. The decision was taken by the club due to a difference in interests concerning the development of the squad. The institution stands above any individual.” The club added that a new head coach will be appointed in the coming hours.
The move follows Beroe’s 2‑2 draw against Etar over the weekend. After the match, Beroe sits in sixth place in the league table with 10 points, three points behind the leaders, Fratria.
No further details about the terms of Manchev’s departure or the identity of his successor have been released.
