انطلاق الحملة الوطنية للتلقيح ضد الانفلونزا الموسمية اليوم

The national influenza vaccination campaign for the 2026‑2027 season began today, Tuesday, across hospitals and peripheral health institutions. The Ministry of Health had announced the official launch date of 27 October 2026, following a directive issued by the General Directorate of Prevention and Health Promotion on 11 October 2026. The directive outlined the organizational measures and operational steps required to ensure the campaign’s smooth implementation nationwide. The campaign prioritises groups most at risk of severe influenza complications. These include individuals aged 65 and older, people with chronic conditions such as heart disease, respiratory disorders, kidney disease, diabetes, obesity, and various forms of immunodeficiency. Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, health‑care workers, and pilgrims are also designated as priority recipients. Vaccinations are being administered at multi‑service clinics, maternal and child protection centres, and other health‑care facilities, following the protocols adopted by the relevant health authorities. The aim is to facilitate easy access to the vaccine for eligible citizens and to ensure an organised distribution of health services.
