মাছের ঘেরে বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে এক ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু

Patuakhali, Kalapara – A 55‑year‑old man was found dead in a fish cage in the vegetable garden of Sadarpur, Nilganj Union, on Sunday, 25 October. The body was recovered by the fire service at about 11 p.m. The deceased, Nur Islam Fakir, was the son of Mr. Hazrat Ali of Kalapara Municipality. After his marriage, he lived in his father‑in‑law’s house in Sadarpur. According to police and relatives, Mr. Islam went to the fish cage around 7 p.m. to water the plants. While operating the water‑irrigation motor, he was electrocuted and fell into the water, where he drowned. When he did not return home, his family began searching for him. His wife later found the irrigation motor in the vegetable garden, and relatives discovered his body in the water. Police and the fire service were notified and rescued the body from the fish cage. Nazrul Islam, the acting officer of Kalapara Police Station, said, “The person died from electrocution. No complaint has been filed, and the body has been handed over to the family.”
