**KYIV** — Russia launched a large-scale aerial attack on the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv early Tuesday morning, resulting in fatalities, dozens of injuries, and widespread destruction in residential neighborhoods.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian forces deployed a combination of missiles and uncrewed aerial vehicles against the city in one of the largest waves of strikes. Officials reported that at least 14 people were killed and dozens of others were wounded in the assault.
