Александър Тунчев: Локо Сф е много опасен и трябва да сме концентрирани

Arda Kardzhali head coach Aleksandar Tunchev has shared his expectations ahead of his team’s upcoming home match against Lokomotiv Sofia, emphasizing the need for high concentration.

Speaking to *Telegraph Sport*, Tunchev warned that Lokomotiv Sofia’s lack of a win in the championship so far is misleading. “They create many situations in front of their opponents’ goal. I would say they are a quite dangerous team,” Tunchev said. “Yes, indeed, they fail to convert many of their chances, but at some point, they will start doing so, and we must be maximally focused in defense as well as in attack.”

He added that concentration will be the key factor in the match, noting that the side which maintains better focus will achieve success. Arda’s objective is to impose their own tempo and capitalize on their scoring opportunities, following positive performances against Slavia, CSKA 1948, and a recent victory over Dunav in Rousse. According to the coach, the win against Dunav has restored the team’s confidence.

Regarding team selection, Tunchev confirmed that Antonio Vutov remains unavailable due to an inflammation in his heel. Vutov is still sidelined, and a definitive timeline for his return to action is not yet clear.

The coach also praised the recent performance of Stasi Ivanov, who featured immediately after joining the club. Tunchev noted that while Ivanov lacks match fitness, he completed a normal summer preparation with Ludogorets, possesses valuable experience, and will bring quality and additional options to the squad.
