英國南約克郡男子闖老虎活動區域 遭襲擊傷重當場不治

A man died after a tiger attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, on Saturday, 10 October 2026. Police received a call at 1:35 p.m. that a visitor had entered the tiger enclosure and was subsequently attacked. Emergency responders arrived and attempted to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The tiger involved was unharmed and remained inside its enclosure, posing no further threat to other visitors. The park’s spokesperson said the incident was “devastating” and that the park had immediately activated its emergency response plan. “We are working closely with the police and relevant authorities to determine exactly what happened,” the spokesperson added. The park announced that it would remain closed on Sunday, 11 October, and urged visitors to respect the privacy of those affected. A 39‑year‑old visitor from Worksop, Karmelle Pelham, recalled hearing a “gun‑shot‑like” sound and seeing a rescue helicopter overhead. She said staff had organised a calm evacuation and praised the orderly process. Yorkshire Wildlife Park opened in 2009. Its “Land of the Tigers” area, which opened in 2011, covers about two acres and houses Amur tigers, a critically endangered subspecies with an estimated wild population of around 500 individuals. Police have warned that videos of the incident circulating online are unverified and should not be shared.
