In Kannur, Kerala, CPM state secretary P Jayarajan spoke to local media about the political landscape following the United Democratic Front’s (UDF) recent rise to power.

Jayarajan alleged that the UDF’s governance has created a favourable environment for the Sangh Parivar, claiming that Chief Minister V D Satheesan and his associates are actively expanding the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) influence in the state.

He further accused the Muslim League of behaving like a “Muslim BJP,” suggesting that the party is engaging in communal polarization to strengthen its position.

Jayarajan noted that the UDF has been in office for more than 120 days and that, according to him, no action taken by the government has harmed the RSS or the Sangh Parivar.

These statements are allegations made by Jayarajan; no independent evidence has been presented to substantiate the claims.

The remarks were made during a press briefing in Kannur.
