The Sri Lanka Police have announced that Interpol has issued a blue notice against former minister Basil Rajapaksa. Authorities stated that the notice was issued in response to the former minister failing to appear before the court.
A blue notice is used by Interpol to collect additional information about a person’s identity, location, or activities in relation to a criminal investigation.
