President of Karakalpakstan announced a comprehensive support package for the region’s livestock farmers during a meeting on socio‑economic development.
The package aims to expand the fodder base, restore unused agricultural land, and improve farmers’ access to credit and subsidies.
In the Kurgan, Beruniy, and Chimay districts, 2,000 hectares of land are currently being restored. The government plans to develop an additional 5,000 hectares next year.
In the Bozatausky district, similar restoration and development activities are underway, though specific details were not disclosed.
These measures are intended to strengthen livestock production and provide financial relief to farmers across Karakalpakstan.
