On 23 September, libraries across Kyrgyzstan hosted cultural and educational events in celebration of State Language Day.
The events took place in republic‑wide, oblast, district, city, and village libraries, according to the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy.
Officials said the activities were designed to raise the public profile of the Kyrgyz language and encourage its use in everyday life.
Details of the programs were not disclosed, but the Ministry emphasized the importance of the language in national identity and cultural preservation.
