Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal stated that tax reforms and the digitalization of the economy are essential for the success of the Uran Pakistan initiative. The minister made these remarks while chairing a meeting focused on the national economic mission, tax restructuring, and digital integration.

During the session, Iqbal emphasized that tax reforms and the expansion of national resources serve as the financial engine for the entire Uran Pakistan program, including the second phase of the mission. He underscored that these measures are critical to ensuring the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of the country’s economic development goals.
