هل يستعدّ الجيش الاسرائيلي لاحتلال النبطية؟

According to a report published by the Lebanese website Lebanon Scoop, Israeli military officials have allegedly indicated that they are preparing to occupy the city of Nabatieh and its surrounding area. The report cites information from the Israeli newspaper “Al‑Luwa” that the Israeli army intends to take control of the city after securing and detonating the Al‑Taher hills, which are located to the north of Nabatieh.

The stated justification for the planned occupation is the continued violations of a cease‑fire agreement by Hezbollah in the region. The report claims that Israeli officials plan to focus on negotiations to reach a peace agreement under Israeli fire, and that they will not withdraw until a lasting peace is achieved.

In addition, the article reports that Israeli diplomats have said that Israeli officials are ready to hold the eighth round of talks after the Jewish New Year on 11 September. The diplomats predict that the political delegation will convene in Rome or, more likely, in Jordan on 14 and 15 September, citing the proximity of those locations to Lebanon and Israel.

These statements are presented as allegations and have not been independently verified. The source of the information is the Lebanese website Lebanon Scoop, which cites the Israeli newspaper “Al‑Luwa.” No official Israeli government statement has confirmed these claims.

Lebanon Scoop’s article was first published on its website on the date indicated in the original post.
