**Uzbekistan to Redefine Regional Industrial Strategy**
Uzbekistan is set to implement a new strategy focused on industrial specialization to enhance regional economic development. The initiative aims to prioritize territories with the highest growth potential, according to discussions held during a seminar at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
A primary objective of this strategy is to identify three high-potential districts and three “driver” industries for each region. The initiative is designed to elevate the performance of regional industrial sectors and improve the operational efficiency of local industrial headquarters.
Government officials and stakeholders discussed these measures as part of a broader effort to modernize the country’s industrial landscape and ensure more targeted economic growth across its provinces.
