11 People Arrested for Illegal Gambling in Kapilvastu On Thursday night, 21 Kattik (21 Kattik = 21 Kattik? Actually date: 21 Kattik? The police conducted a raid on a building in Banakasi, Ward 6 of Baanaganga Municipality, where a group was playing illegal gambling. The operation was carried out by a joint team from the Lumbini Police Office, Dang Special Police Team, and the Kapilvastu District Police Office. The raid, which took place at 11:30 p.m., uncovered 11 suspects who were found playing the game. Police recovered 220,690 NPR in cash, six books of cards, and 15 mobile phones. The suspects were taken to the Pipara Police Station for further investigation and possible action. The arrested individuals are: – Janu Chaudhary (40 years old), Baanaganga Municipality 6 – Shankar Aryal (36 years old), Ward 2 – Amrit Paudel (41 years old), Kapilvastu Municipality 9 – Jeevan Vishwakarma (33 years old), Baanaganga 5 – Chaitrasad Aryal (31 years old), Ward 6 – Amit Acharya (22 years old), Baanaganga 8 – Ganesha Vik (31 years old) – Irfan Ali (28 years old), Ward 11 – Mohan Sunar (31 years old), Kapilvastu Municipality 9 – Himal Paudel (36 years old), Baanaganga 8 – Rajesh Gharati (28 years old), Ward 6 Kapilvastu District Police Superintendent Manohar Bhat reported the findings. The police have indicated that the suspects will be processed under the relevant legal provisions for illegal gambling.
