**Annapurna Spikers Kings Secure Second Consecutive Title in Nepal Volleyball League 2026**
The inaugural season of the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) 2026 concluded with the Annapurna Spikers Kings claiming their second straight championship. The team defeated the Madhes Warriors in a 3‑set match (25‑16, 29‑31, 25‑22, 25‑21) to secure the title.
The final was played at the National Sports Council (Rakhesh) in Tripureshwar. Annapurna started strong, taking the first set 25‑16. The Warriors fought back in the second set, winning 31‑29. Annapurna then dominated the third and fourth sets, each by a 3‑point margin, to win the match 3‑1.
In other league matches, the Madhes Warriors were defeated 3‑1 by the Sagarmatha Smashers and 3‑2 by the Kathmandu Reds. The Annapurna Spikers had previously lost 3‑1 to the Karnali Shivraj but rebounded with consecutive victories, including a 3‑0 win over the Kathmandu Reds.
The NVL 2026 operates on a single‑round robin format with six teams. The league will continue until 27 Bhadra 2083 (2026). The champion will receive a prize of NPR 2,000,000, according to organisers Kedia Group.
