برلمانية من حزب الأحرار تضع اختلالات مستشفى بني ملال أمام وزير الصحة

Parliamentary deputy Aya Adal, representing the Beni Mellal‑Khénifra region, submitted a written question to Health Minister Amine Tihrawi on Thursday. The inquiry focused on the operational challenges faced by the Beni Mellal Regional Hospital and the measures being taken to improve the quality of care for patients and visitors. Adal highlighted several key issues at the hospital. She cited a shortage of medical staff in critical specialties, including obstetrics and gynecology, forensic medicine, and general surgery. The deputy also pointed to limited medical equipment, which hampers access to diagnostic tests and therapeutic services. In addition, she raised concerns about overcrowding in the emergency department, delays in patient admission, and a potential lack of essential drugs and supplies. According to Adal, these problems increase suffering for patients and their families and compromise the institution’s ability to manage urgent cases effectively. The deputy requested that the ministry disclose the steps it intends to take to address the deficits in medical, nursing, and technical personnel, as well as to enhance the hospital’s equipment. She specifically asked for improvements in magnetic‑resonance imaging services and the reading of medical tests, and for an increase in the facility’s capacity. Adal also sought information on measures to ensure a regular supply of medications and medical supplies, reduce waiting times for diagnostic procedures, improve patient nutrition and reception conditions, and explore the possibility of an emergency program to upgrade the Beni Mellal Regional Hospital’s human and material resources. The ministry has not yet responded to the question.
