A manhunt is currently underway in Tobago for three suspects who attempted to break into a First Citizens ATM in Castara on Monday. Authorities received a tip-off about the break-in attempt at approximately 3:20 a.m., prompting a swift response from the Tobago Divisional Task Force. Upon arrival, officers were accompanied by personnel from Mi4 Security, who had also responded to the scene after receiving a call about the incident. The officers discovered that the rear door of the ATM was ajar and noted a strong burning odor emanating from the structure. Further investigation revealed that the locks on three doors had been torched and removed, indicating an attempted break-in. Although the suspects attempted to torch the ATM vault, they were ultimately unsuccessful. No individuals were found at the scene, and investigations are ongoing as authorities seek to apprehend the suspects.
