**Arsenal Defeat Manchester City 3-0 to Win Community Shield**
Arsenal secured a 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield at the Principality Stadium on Sunday, handing new City manager Enzo Maresca a defeat in his opening match in charge.
Arsenal opened the scoring after just 23 seconds when Riccardo Calafiori was played through on goal. The lead was doubled before halftime when Kai Havertz headed in, a shot that Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was unable to keep out.
Three minutes into the second half, Arsenal extended their lead to 3-0 when new signing Christos Tzolis provided his second assist of the match, setting up captain Martin Odegaard.
Manchester City, reigning Premier League champions, displayed only flashes of their attacking threat throughout the encounter. Phil Foden and Erling Haaland both forced saves from Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, who maintained a clean sheet to secure the win.
