Arouca Man Survives Terrifying Highway Kidnapping

A 61-year-old man from Arouca had a terrifying ordeal on Sunday night when he was robbed, kidnapped, and thrown from his own vehicle along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway. Around 11:30 p.m., the victim was sitting in his Chevy Optra when he was ambushed by two men, one of whom was armed. The armed man forced the victim out of the car and onto the road, threatening his life. The second assailant forced the victim into the back seat while the armed man drove the vehicle. The terrifying incident concluded when the men tossed the victim out of the moving vehicle near the Prisons Sports Club on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and then fled in his car in an easterly direction.
