APNU says 2020 election fraud trial exposing PPP/C’s own irregularities

Sherwain Benjamin, General Secretary of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR), stated on Friday that the ongoing 2020 election fraud trial supports the party’s position regarding the integrity of the electoral process. During an APNU press conference, Benjamin argued that the proceedings are failing to produce evidence of attempts by the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) to rig the 2020 general elections.

Benjamin further alleged that the trial is highlighting irregularities attributed to the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C). The PNCR official maintained that the legal process is vindicating the coalition’s stance that the accusations leveled against them are unfounded.
