Amplia Communications Limited has undergone a significant leadership shake-up, with General Manager Shawn Clarke being terminated from his position. The company confirmed the change in a statement to Guardian Media, announcing that Bridget Rattan has been appointed as the new Acting General Manager, effective last Thursday.
The decision to terminate Clarke was made by the board of the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT), the parent company of Amplia. Clarke had been with Amplia since 2024 and was acknowledged for his contributions during his tenure. The company expressed its gratitude for his leadership and wished him well in his future endeavors.
In light of these changes, Amplia has stated that it will remain focused on maintaining operational continuity. Under Rattan’s leadership, the company aims to continue delivering value to its customers, employees, and stakeholders. This transition comes as Amplia navigates the challenges within the telecommunications sector and seeks to strengthen its market position.
