Amazon behind massive private gas plant for new data centers

Amazon is financially backing a massive private gas power plant in Texas, according to a recent confirmation by the company. The plant is intended to support new data centers. Once operational, it could become the single largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the area. Amazon confirmed its involvement in the project on Friday.
