Alleyne School student launches sexual health awareness initiative

A student leader and UNICEF Child Rights Ambassador has launched a new initiative aimed at promoting sexual health awareness following concerns regarding student behavior. The program, titled “Think, Know Decide,” was developed in response to reports of students engaging in sexual activity both on and off school grounds and sharing videos of these acts online. The initiative, led by a member of the school’s Student Council, seeks to educate students on the risks and potential consequences of early sexual activity. The organizer, identified as Smith, stated that the issue was a significant concern for him as a young person. He expressed hope that the program would provide students with a clearer understanding of how their choices can impact their futures. The initiative began today and is scheduled to run through Friday. The program features a series of educational activities and interactive discussions designed to engage the student body and deepen their understanding of sexual health and responsible decision-making.
