Alleged Underworld Figure Frankie Bartholomew Critical After Morvant Shooting

A man described by police as an alleged underworld figure is fighting for his life after a shooting in Morvant on Thursday night. Frankie Jamal Bartholomew, 41, also known by the aliases ‘Fishie’ and ‘Fisk’, was critically wounded in the incident. He was rushed to the Port of Spain General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Bartholomew, a resident of 2nd Caledonia, Morvant, was shot under circumstances that remain unclear. The shooting took place in the Morvant district, but authorities have yet to disclose specific details about the sequence of events leading up to the attack.

Police sources have identified Bartholomew as an alleged figure connected to organised crime, though no formal charges have been brought against him in connection with this incident. Investigators are actively pursuing leads and continuing their enquiries into the shooting.

No further information has been released by law enforcement at this stage. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward as they work to piece together the events of Thursday night.
