**Argentine Football Association to Honor Lionel Messi with Applause in the 10th Minute of All Matches**

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced on Wednesday that every national football match in the country will pause for one minute at the 10th minute of the first half to pay tribute to Lionel Messi following his retirement from the national team.

The tribute will apply to all 11‑a‑side soccer, futsal and beach‑soccer games, for both men and women, across all stadiums in Argentina. During the pause, fans and players are encouraged to applaud in honor of Messi.
