A 25‑year‑old man named Müslüm U. drowned in the Seyhan Baraj Gölü in Adana’s Çukurova district. The incident occurred on Thursday evening at approximately 18:30 in Dörtler Mahallesi, where U. was fishing with friends. According to reports, he lost his balance and fell into the lake. He was seen struggling in the water before disappearing from view. After his friends reported the incident, emergency services, including medical, fire, and underwater police units, were dispatched to the scene. Divers located U.’s body in the morning hours. The body was transported to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drowning. No other casualties have been reported.
