A motorcycle rider sustained injuries following a collision with a car on Helfrichstraat on Saturday evening. Police and emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of the accident.
According to preliminary police findings, the collision occurred when a Suzuki Swift exited Vermeerstraat and entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the side of the vehicle, causing the rider to fall to the ground.
Paramedics arrived at the location to provide medical assistance to the injured motorcyclist. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital for further treatment.
