A woman from Siparia recently shared her horrifying experience of domestic violence, revealing the terror she faced at the hands of her abusive boyfriend, Salim James, over the past weekend. Recalling the incident during an exclusive interview, the victim expressed that she felt her life was in danger. Her desperate cries for help eventually led to her abuser fleeing the scene. She narrated the constant abuse she underwent, describing her abuser as ‘pure evil’ who exercised control over every aspect of her life, even resorting to threats with a pan of gas during a video call. The victim’s fear was so intense that she refrained from reporting him to the police, fearing a deadly repercussion. The ordeal reached a peak when James set fire to her home, where she lived with her 14-year-old daughter.
