Toronto Police have announced the arrest of Abdul Ghafoori, a 32-year-old Toronto resident, who was wanted in connection with the homicide of 30-year-old Himanshi Khurana. According to police, Ghafoori was located and arrested on August 7.
The Toronto Police Fugitive Squad and Homicide and Missing Persons Unit worked with national and international policing partners to facilitate Ghafoori’s return to Canada. Police stated that this collaboration was instrumental in apprehending the accused.
Ghafoori’s arrest marks a significant development in the investigation into Khurana’s homicide. Further details about the case have not been released at this time.
