Elderly Man Pinned Against Car, Delayed Ambulance Response

An elderly man, identified as Cheddie, was tragically pinned against his car when he was struck by another vehicle. The incident occurred as he was retrieving his rubber boots from the trunk of his Nissan Sentra, which was parked near Mon Desir Road. Following the impact, he fell beside his vehicle. A family member present at the scene along with nearby residents immediately raised an alarm and contacted the authorities. However, according to a family spokesperson, the response from the ambulance service was unsatisfactorily slow, taking over an hour to arrive.
