During an anti-crime operation in the Trincity district, three suspects were arrested and a significant amount of cannabis was seized. The operation, led by the DCP Operations Unit, took place at the Macoya Industrial Estate based on intelligence about an alleged drug shipment. The officers discovered 89 packets filled with cannabis during their search. The suspects, aged between 26 and 42 from Trincity and Chaguanas, were arrested under charges of Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Trafficking. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
