Zaakir Ishmael, son of the late businessman Inshan Ishmael, has announced the funeral arrangements for his father. The service is scheduled for today at the Barakah Grounds in Endeavour, Chaguanas, with the ceremony starting at 4:30pm and the Islamic funeral, or janazah, commencing at 5pm. Zaakir expressed his sorrow and acceptance of his father’s passing with the Islamic phrase ‘Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’u’, which translates to ‘We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return’.
