Mother Holds Onto Hope Two Years After Son’s Mysterious Disappearance

Marking two years since her son, Oreon Gomez, went missing, Sharon Chapman shared a heart-wrenching message on Facebook. The Trinidad and Tobago mother expressed her longing and pain for her only child who disappeared on 26th August, 2023. Oreon was last known to be heading to Arima for a date with a young woman he met on social media. Despite the woman claiming they intended to visit a popular resort, footage revealed they never arrived. Oreon also failed to show up for a planned hike the next day. Disappointed with the lack of effort from the local police in retrieving crucial security footage from nearby businesses, Sharon criticizes their approach to missing persons cases. She urged people to always inform someone they trust about their whereabouts and pleaded with anyone who knows about her son’s disappearance to break their silence.
