MP Young Calls Out Newsday for False Quote

Stuart R. Young, SC, MP, recently expressed his disappointment with Newsday for falsely attributing a quote to him. In his full statement, Young voiced concerns about recent developments reported by international media, stating they should be a cause of concern for all citizens and the region. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace in the CARICOM region, which is recognized as a peace zone. Young reiterated that Trinidad and Tobago have consistently upheld the principles of non-interference and non-intervention in the internal affairs of other countries. He urged that allies also respect and uphold these principles. Following this, Young demanded an immediate correction of the inaccurate quote from Newsday.
