Pleasantville Man Ambushed, Killed in Local Market

In a tragic incident in Pleasantville, a 45-year-old man, Damian Pierre, was fatally shot on Wednesday night. The assault took place at a market shed in Blitz Village, where Pierre was spending his evening. The assailant approached Pierre and fired multiple shots, resulting in severe gunshot wounds to Pierre’s neck and chest. Despite being rushed to San Fernando General Hospital, Pierre was pronounced dead within an hour of the attack. Police recovered six 9mm shell casings from the scene and are continuing their investigation into this brutal crime.
