Masked Gunman Ambushes, Executes Penal Businessman Inside Shop

46-year-old businessman, Kevin Ryan, was ambushed and fatally shot inside his Penal shop by a masked gunman on Wednesday night. The assailant, dressed in an orange coverall and a dark ski mask, entered the Big G One Stop Shop at Penal Rock Road around 9:20 p.m., pointed a gun at Ryan, and shot him in the chest. Despite Ryan’s attempt to escape into the kitchen, he collapsed and died on the spot. The perpetrator then fled on foot. Police revealed that the suspect had entered the shop while Ryan was out, surveyed the scene, and returned later to execute the attack. Ryan was found motionless by responding officers from the nearby Penal Police Station. The District Medical Officer declared him dead at the scene and ordered a post-mortem examination.
