The Ministry of Tertiary Education and Skills Training (MTEST) has announced the appointment of the new Board of Governors for the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT). Professor Selwyn Cudjoe has been named Chairman, leading the new board which is set to serve for a three year term. UTT, a prominent institution for higher learning and research, plays a key role in the economic development of Trinidad and Tobago, offering an array of undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral level training and educational services. The new board members are expected to help drive transformative initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of the education sector, and cater to the growing needs of the nation’s student population.
