Jameel Thomas, 43, appeared before the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court today in connection with an incident last year, where he damaged the front door of the Charlotteville Police Station with a gas tank. After leaving court, Thomas allegedly traveled to Charlotteville and repeated his destructive act on the recently repaired door. The initial incident occurred on October 13, 2024, when Thomas became agitated while trying to file a report at the station. He left the premises only to return with a gas tank, which he used to break the glass front door. Despite being arrested and charged with malicious damage, a case still pending in court, Thomas allegedly repeated his actions today, causing an estimated $4,072.50 in damages. He was immediately arrested and the police are continuing their investigations.
