The operation was conducted based on intelligence received regarding a potential narcotics storage location within an apartment complex in Valsayn, Curepe. Officers carried out the operation from 8 AM to 2 PM, during which the canine unit’s K9 named “Choco” played a crucial role by indicating a strong interest in the washroom area of a downstairs apartment utilized by multiple tenants.
The search led by PC Rodriguez uncovered four bags containing 100 rectangular packages of cannabis. The seized items were transported to the Charford Court Base, where they were weighed and confirmed at 55.62 kilograms. This successful operation was led by ACP Collis Hazel, with support from Senior Superintendent Spence, Superintendent Ramsook, ASP Singh, Inspector Burris, and Acting Inspector Edwards, all under the supervision of Sergeant Adams.
