Nigora Allambergenova, a teacher at School No. 2 in the Kanlykul district of Karakalpakstan, has been named the winner of the national Teacher of the Year competition. As a result of her victory, she was awarded a prize of 50,000 dollars.
The announcement was made during a visit by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Karakalpakstan region. Reflecting on her achievement, Allambergenova credited the professional opportunities currently being provided to educators for her success in the competition.
The national contest recognized a total of 208 teachers from across Uzbekistan. Among the winners, 17 educators represent the Karakalpakstan region.
