दो साल में 416 करोड़ का चंदा, अब दफ्तर पर ताला… कौन चला रहा है ‘सत्यवादी रक्षक पार्टी’?

**Gujarat-based Satyawadi Rakshak Party Faces Scrutiny Over ₹416 Crore in Donations**

**AHMEDABAD** — A relatively unknown political organization, the Satyawadi Rakshak Party, is under scrutiny following reports that it received over ₹416 crore in donations over a two-year period, despite having minimal electoral presence.

According to Election Commission of India data, the Gujarat-based party received more than ₹330 crore in donations during the 2023-24 fiscal year. This follows a reported intake of approximately ₹85.67 crore during the 2022-23 fiscal year.

Despite the significant financial influx, the party fielded only one candidate during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The organization conducted no visible public campaigns, rallies, or political movements during this period.

When reporters from *Aaj Tak* visited the party’s registered office, they found the premises locked. Subsequent attempts to reach the party’s president, Swatiben, at her residence resulted in her stating that the party has ceased operations.

During the interaction, Swatiben described herself as a nominal president and claimed she had limited knowledge regarding the party’s financial affairs. Regarding the ₹330 crore in donations, she stated, “I do not know what is in it now. Whatever donation came, we must have donated it to someone. We have not kept the money.” She further noted that the party was closed during the 2024-25 period and that many individuals were associated with the organization.

The discrepancy between the party’s substantial funding and its lack of political activity has raised questions regarding the source and utilization of these funds. As of now, no official investigation by regulatory or law enforcement agencies has been confirmed, though the matter has drawn attention due to the scale of the donations relative to the party’s profile.
